Hi,

I'm Iain Macdonald, one of the world's lifelong expatriates. I live in the USA but I'm a mongrel Brit [I50:50 Scots & Welsh,but with an English accent that northerners think is southern and vice versa. Just to add to the mix, I was born in the Sahara - the joys of military families :-)  ].

Currently, I teach monsters - kindergarten to 8th grade, although my background has been adult training and running a business. I enjoy cooking, gardening and messing about with my 14-year-old tomboy. For recreation, I run on desert trails [summer running is kinda warm in Arizona, though], drink beer and red wine and read The Economist. I'd like to start rugby again, but I'm not sure my aging carcass agrees.
